Where can I find colleges with free applications?

My wallet's already feeling the sting from SAT/ACT test fees, AP tests, and... well, life. I'm looking to save a bit when it comes to apps, so I was wondering if you guys could list some colleges with free application processes? Thanks!

Absolutely, I can share some colleges that don't charge application fees. Here are just a few:

- Colby College

- Smith College

- Reed College

- Loyola University Chicago

- Carleton College

Keep in mind, many other schools may waive the application fee under certain circumstances — for instance, if you qualify for their need-based fee waiver or if you apply online. Sometimes schools will also waive application fees for students who visit their campus, attend an online information session, or participate in a virtual college fair. It may be worth reaching out directly to the admissions office of any schools you're interested in to see if they offer any fee waivers you could qualify for.

Make sure you're conscious of deadlines as well. Some schools waive fees if you apply by a certain date or through early action/decision. However, always verify this on their admissions webpage or by contacting the school directly as practices can vary and change year over year.

Let me know if there's anything more specific you'd like to know. Funding college applications can definitely be a challenge, but with some prior planning, you can help offset some of these costs.
