Industrial design is a great field, combining creativity with practical application - awesome that you're considering it for your major.

1. Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) is renowned in this field with its BFA in Industrial Design program that concentrates on blending aesthetics and practicality.

2. Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) also has a strong Industrial Design program under their School of Design, offering both under-graduate and graduate courses in this field.

3. Georgia Tech offers a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design (BSID) which is a unique blend of design and technology-focused courses. The program emphasizes "human-centered" design.

4. University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) - their Industrial Design program is regarded as one of the best in the country. They have a unique co-op program that provides students with valuable professional experience.

5. ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA has strong ties to the design industry and focuses on nurturing creativity, technical abilities, and business understanding.

6. Pratt Institute in New York offers an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design that emphasizes the role of design in society and the designer’s responsibility to the world.

These schools have a great reputation in Industrial Design, but make sure to consider other factors that matter to you, like curriculum, geographic location, class size, internship, or work-study opportunities. There are many great Industrial Design programs beyond these, so do some digging to find the one that best aligns with your interests and long-term goals.
