Construction Management Degrees at Popular Universities - Recommendations?

I'm interested in going into a degree in Construction Management. I've tried looking into it, but I haven't been able to find a lot of colleges that offer it. Any suggestions on where to apply or any experiences with this type of major?

Sure, I'd be happy to help you explore some colleges known for their Construction Management programs. First and foremost, it's important to keep in mind that this major is often housed within an institution's School of Engineering or Business School.

One university that comes to mind is Purdue University. They have a well-regarded Construction Engineering and Management program in their College of Engineering. The program equips students with knowledge in construction materials, structures, geotechnics, and water resource.

Another university to consider is Arizona State University, which has a top-rated Del E. Webb School of Construction. Their program also offers concentrations for further specialization like Commercial Building and Heavy Construction.

Clemson University in South Carolina offers a Construction Science and Management degree. The program provides opportunities for internships, co-ops, and field experiences, which could be very valuable for you in gaining practical experience and making industry connections.

Lastly, California Polytechnic State University (also known as Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo has a Construction Management program that focuses on both technical construction practices and management skills. Their program boasts a high job placement rate and strong industry partnerships.

As you research, be sure to take a look at each program's specific curriculum, co-op/internship opportunities, and post-graduation job placement rates to get a fuller picture of what each program offers.
