AP Research Scoring Info Needed

I've been putting in a lot of hours into my AP Research project and I'm kind of stressing over how my work will be scored. Is there a certain calculator or some kind of model that can help me estimate my potential score?

There's no specific calculator or model to estimate your potential AP Research score, as the scoring process isn't quite as straightforward as it is for more traditional exams. However, I can provide you with an overview of how the scoring process works.

Your AP Research score is based on two major components – your academic paper (75% of scoring weightage) and your presentation and oral defense (25%).

The academic paper score is further divided into nine rows where each row corresponds to a scoring area like understanding and identifying a research question, context, methods, etc., and is scored 1-3 points.

The presentation score contains four sets of scores, each out of 5 points. They assess areas like oral defense, overall presentation, use of visual aids, and method, among other things.

Having said this, it's important that you focus on developing a thorough understanding of the scoring guidelines as they provide you with a detailed description of what traits/qualities AP graders are looking for in each of these areas. Good luck on your AP Research project!
