Help Finding Argumentative Research Paper Example?

Hi! I've decided to work on my argumentative writing skills over this school year and I feel like having a glance at an example of an argumentative research paper could be really beneficial. Preferably, I'd love something related to technology or environment! Can someone guide me to where I can find such material?

It's great that you want to sharpen your argumentative writing. One excellent resource could be Google Scholar. You can use the search bar to type specific keywords linked to your topics of interest ("environment" or "technology"), and then apply further filters like peer-reviewed publications or recent years to focus your results on the most relevant papers.

Looking at your school's database of past students' essays (if available) could provide good examples of argumentative research papers. Also, you may want to check out free online databases such as the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) or JSTOR. Just remember, when referring to these examples, make sure not to plagiarize; learn from their structure, how they present arguments, counterarguments, and how they cite sources.

Finally, don't forget public libraries. They offer a wealth of resources and often provide access to popular databases with academic essays.

Just a heads up, though, simply reading others' argumentative papers might not be enough to improve your own writing skills. You may also want to practice your writing regularly, get feedback from others, and revise again and again. Writing is very much a "practice makes perfect" skill. Good luck!
