Predicting AP CSP Scores

Hello everyone! I'm kinda stressed about the AP CSP exam. I'm aware that there are tools to predict scores for some AP exams. Do we have one for AP CSP? Is there a way to predict our scores at all? Any guidance will be a relief!

Hey! Given the subjective nature of Advanced Placement (AP) exam grading and the great deal of discretion that individual graders have, accurately predicting AP scores is extremely difficult. While there are tools available that offer estimated score ranges based on raw scores for some AP exams, no such tool currently exists for AP Computer Science Principles (CSP).

That being said, if you have been doing well on the practice exams, and with your performance tasks, that can be a reliable indicator of how you might perform on the official exam. I would emphasize that doing well on the performance tasks is quite crucial since they constitute 40% of your final score. The large weightage on these tasks makes AP CSP a bit different from many other AP exams and can slightly complicate the process of predicting scores.

In the absence of a specific tool, you might find it useful to focus on specific areas of improvement as identified by your teacher (if available) or through self-assessment.
