Which Colleges Have the Highest Tuition?

I'm curious, what are some of the most expensive colleges in the U.S. in terms of tuition? Not that I'm aiming to go there, just want to know my potential debt ceiling haha.

There are indeed several colleges in the U.S. with notoriously high tuition fees. Keep in mind these figures don't include room, board, or other fees - just the tuition. Here's a little rundown:

1. Columbia University: The undergraduate tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year are $70,016.

2. University of Chicago: The undergraduate tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year are also $67,446

3. Harvey Mudd College: This small liberal arts college in California known for its strong STEM programs has a tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year of $68,262.

4. Tufts University: Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year costs approximately $70,504.

5. Vassar College: The tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year come to a sum of $70,050.

It's worth noting, however, that while these sticker prices may seem shockingly high, it doesn't mean that students are necessarily paying the full amount. Many of these colleges offer generous financial aid packages that can significantly reduce the cost for students, especially those from lower-income families. Do also note that these figures are likely to change each year due to inflation and other factors.
