What's campus life like at University of Redlands?

I'm considering applying to the University of Redlands and I'm really curious about what campus life is like there. I've heard a bit about their community vibe, but I'd love some more details. How's the social scene? Are there lots of clubs and events? And what about the dorms and dining options? Any insights into what living there is actually like would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

From what I understand, the University of Redlands offers a small college experience, with a campus community that's described as engaged, inclusive, and inviting. The small size makes it quite easy for students to get to know each other, and there's a distinctive sense of camaraderie among the student body.

In regard to social activities, there are numerous clubs and organizations that cater to a wide array of interests. Whether you're interested in academics, arts, environmental advocacy, or cultural diversity, there's likely to be a club that suits your interests. Besides the typical club meetings, the university also organizes various events throughout the year like concerts and speaker events, which contribute to a vibrant campus life.

As far as housing goes, many students live in dorms for at least their first two years. The dorms vary in size, but they are generally described as comfortable and within walking distance of classes, the library, and other campus amenities.

For dining, there are multiple options available, ranging from traditional cafeteria-style dining to more specialized food stations where you can order custom meals like pasta or stir fry. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, and there are always efforts to feature locally sourced or organic products when possible.

However, it’s also worth noting that like any school, people's experiences can vary widely. You might get different perspectives from different students, so it's a good idea to reach out to current students or alumni if you can. They can give you firsthand insight into the strengths and drawbacks of life at Redlands.
