How does UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering program stack up?

I'm really interested in pursuing electrical engineering and I've heard UC Berkeley is one of the top schools for engineering. Can anyone provide insights into how the electrical engineering program ranks nationally or even globally? I'm looking for information on what makes it stand out compared to other top engineering schools. Any personal experiences or advice on what to expect if I decide to apply and hopefully get in would also be super helpful!

Although prestigious rankings are certainly an indicator of the program's excellence, the unique qualities of UC Berkeley's EECS program go beyond the rankings. The program combines studies in computer science and electrical engineering that not only offers rigorous technical training but also encourages innovation and problem-solving across disciplines.
