When do Early Decision results come out in 2023?

I've applied Early Decision to a few colleges, and the anticipation for the results is honestly nerve-wracking. Is there a general timeline for when colleges start releasing their ED decisions? I've heard it can vary significantly between different schools. Any tips on managing the wait would be great too. The suspense is real, and I'd love some insight into what to expect!

Most Early Decision results are typically released in the middle of December. There can indeed be some variance between schools, but mid-December is the most common time frame. However, some schools might announce the specific date of their decision release on their admissions website or via email closer to when the decision is made, so I recommend checking those regularly.

In the meantime, it's important to focus on things outside of the college application process to manage the stress and anticipation of waiting. Keep busy with your high school work, engage in your extracurricular activities, and take some time for self-care.

Just remember that everyone's in the same boat—the waiting period can be nerve-wracking, but it's also a time to reflect on all the hard work you've put into your applications. Regardless of the outcome, be proud of that effort! Try not to worry too much, as whatever the result, you've shown great dedication in getting this far. Best of luck to you!
