Could someone help with converting a 1140 PSAT score to the SAT?

So I got a 1140 on the PSAT and I'm wondering, what might this translate to on the actual SAT? I get that it's not exact, but a ballpark figure would be super helpful!

Happy to help out with your question! Indeed, the PSAT and SAT scores don't translate on a 1-to-1 basis, but they do give you a good idea of where you stand. For an 1140 PSAT score, you can generally expect to score around a 1250 on the SAT: https://blog.collegevine.com/psat-to-sat-score-conversion-predict-your-score

Bear in mind, though, this is just an estimate and your actual SAT score can vary based on a multitude of factors like how you handle the test on test day, the test difficulty, and your preparation.

A great way to get a more precise estimate might be to take some official SAT practice tests under timed conditions. This will not only give you a better idea of where you stand, but also help you get more familiar with the SAT format and question types. Good luck with your studying and future exam!
