When Do UCLA Decisions Get Released?

I'm applying to UCLA and am super anxious about when I'll hear back regarding my application status. I've heard that different schools have different release dates, and I'm trying to plan around this so I can mentally prepare myself. Does anyone know the specific date (or even a rough timeframe) for when UCLA is likely to announce their admissions decisions? Any info on this would be super helpful!

UCLA typically releases its admissions decisions in mid-to-late March. For example, in 2025 they released decisions on March 21st, in 2024 they were released on March 15th, and in 2023 they were released on March 17th.

It's important to note, however, that these dates can fluctuate slightly from year to year, so it's a good idea to check UCLA's admissions website and your email regularly for updates. Usually, all decisions—whether acceptance, denial, or waitlist—are released on the same day. Once decisions are out, you can check your status via the UCLA Application Status Portal. Good luck with your application! Hopefully you'll receive favorable news soon.
