What's the AP Statistics Passing Rate Like?

Is the AP Statistics exam known for a high passing rate, or is it one of the challenging ones? Just trying to set realistic expectations for myself and how much effort I’ll need to put in to get that 3 or higher.

Understanding the passing rates of AP exams can certainly help set your expectations and goals. The AP Statistics exam historically has a moderate passing rate. According to the College Board, the 2021 pass rate (scores of 3 or higher) for AP Statistics was around 60%. While this might seem daunting, remember that a passing rate doesn't tell the whole story of how you will perform. It still boils down to how well you understand the material and how effectively you prepare for the exam.

With consistent study and a good grasp of the concepts laid out in the course, achieving a 3 or higher is quite manageable. Look into getting a good review book, seeking guidance from your teacher, or forming a study group with your peers to tackle challenging topics together. As long as you dedicate a solid effort to learning and practice, you'll be setting yourself up for success. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need study strategies or additional support!
