What are the Courage to Grow Scholarship Requirements?

Hey everyone! I'm a high school junior looking for scholarships to apply to and I came across the Courage to Grow Scholarship. Does anyone know what the specific requirements are for this scholarship? I'm trying to figure out if I am eligible to apply, but I'm having a hard time finding detailed information. Is there a minimum GPA or essay requirement? Any info or advice from someone who has applied before would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Sure, I can help with that! The Courage to Grow Scholarship is relatively simple to apply for, and it has broad eligibility that allows many high school and college students to participate. Here are the main requirements:

1. You must be a U.S. citizen.

2. Applicants can be high school juniors or seniors or college students.

3. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

To apply, applicants must fill out a form on the Courage to Grow Scholarship website providing basic information about themselves. The form does ask for a brief (250 words or less) explanation of why the student believes they should be awarded this scholarship. Although it's a short response, you should still put thoughtful effort into it.

This scholarship is awarded based on academics, school activities, and how compelling the brief explanation is. It's not necessarily about being the most qualified but demonstrating why this scholarship will help you grow and succeed.

This scholarship is awarded monthly, so if you don't receive it one month, you can always reapply in future months.

I hope this helps! Best of luck with your application.
