I’m part of a club at my high school that’s planning to raise funds for local charities and I’ve been put in charge of brainstorming ideas for community-centered fundraising. I've heard the term used but I'm not exactly sure what it entails or how it differs from regular fundraising efforts. How can we create fundraising events or activities that really involve and engage the local community? What are some successful examples of community-centered fundraising efforts that you've been a part of or heard about? I'm hoping to come up with innovative ideas that will not only raise funds but also strengthen community bonds.
