What are the best scholarships with no essay?

I’m currently a high school junior juggling a ton of activities including sports, a part-time job, and trying to maintain a solid GPA. With my schedule, finding scholarships that have little to no essays would really help me out time-wise. I've heard that some scholarships don't require essays, but it seems kind of rare.

Does anyone here know of reliable scholarships without an essay requirement? Are there particular websites or databases that have good listings for these kinds of scholarships? I want to make sure I'm maximizing my chances without spending hours on end writing essays. Thanks in advance for your help!

Firstly, props for taking the initiative and applying for scholarships early. You're thinking strategically, and that's really wise! While it's true that many scholarships do require essays as part of the application, numerous others do not.

1. No Essay College Scholarship by Niche: This is an extremely straightforward scholarship that requires no essay. All you have to do is create a free account with Niche, and you're automatically entered for their monthly $2,000 scholarship giveaway. The best part is, you can apply every month which gives you multiple chances to win.

2. ScholarshipPoints Scholarships: This platform offers a variety of scholarships that are essentially sweepstakes. By becoming a member and completing easy online activities, you can earn ScholarshipPoints, which you can use to enter scholarship drawings.

3. Gotchosen Monthly Scholarship: This one is particularly unique. Instead of an essay, you need to participate in social networking. The prizes vary from month to month, but previous prizes have been as high as $5,000.

4. Cirkled In scholarship: Cirkled In offers a $2,500 scholarship for completing a profile on their platform that gets submitted for the scholarship -- no essay required!

5. "Stuck at Prom" scholarship by Duck Brand: An innovative and fun opportunity for the creatively inclined, students must create and wear prom attire made of Duck brand duct tape to their high school prom.

A neat resource to browse for such opportunities is Appily. They have a scholarship section where you can filter to find 'no essay' scholarships. Alternatively, you can leverage scholarship aggregators like Fastweb or Scholarships.com, which have comprehensive databases and allow you to filter by criteria such as 'no essay' scholarships. While scholarships without essays might seem like a dream come true, it's worth keeping in mind that there will be a larger applicant pool for these scholarships, so the competition may be high.

Pairing these easier applications with a few more time-intensive ones can be a fruitful strategy. Persistence can pay off, so keep looking and applying! Best of luck to you!
