What degrees does Pratt Institute offer?

I'm considering applying to Pratt Institute and would love to know more about the various degrees they offer. Are there specific programs that are particularly strong or well-regarded? Any insights or experiences would be really helpful!

Pratt Institute is renowned for its strong programs in the fine arts, architecture, and design fields. The undergraduate programs are particularly high-quality, though their graduate programs are also well-regarded.

Undergraduate programs include but are not limited to: Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Fine Arts (in areas such as Painting, Photography, Jewelry, and Sculpture), Bachelor of Industrial Design, Bachelor of Interior Design, and Bachelor of Graphic Design.

For graduate studies, Pratt offers numerous master's degrees, including a Master of Architecture, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Science (in Information Experience Design, Communications Design, Urban Placemaking and Management), and Master of Industrial Design, amongst others.

In addition, Pratt also offers a BFA in Digital Arts and Animation, which is a relatively new, yet rapidly growing field, and a BFA in Fashion Design, which is highly competitive and regarded as one of the best fashion programs globally.

It's important to note that what makes Pratt stand out is not just the range of their degree programs, but the overall approach to education. The institute heavily emphasizes experiential learning, often through real-world design projects, internships, and collaborative work. It provides an environment that fosters creativity and innovation, which is key in these artistic and design-related fields.

As with any school, the 'right' program for you would heavily depend on your interests and career goals. Hence, take some time to research the various departments and programs, and don't hesitate to reach out to the admissions office if you have specific queries about the programs you're looking into.
