What are some good art colleges in Pennsylvania?

Trying to narrow down my list, and I'm interested in art programs. Any recommendations for art-focused colleges in Pennsylvania? I'm looking for schools with diverse programs and strong portfolios. Personal experiences or general reputation insights are welcome!

Starting with the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), it's well-regarded for its excellent fine arts program. The university offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts program in partnership with the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where students can study a multitude of disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking.

Another school to consider is Carnegie Mellon University, which has the School of Art, an interdisciplinary art department that's one of the top-ranked programs nationwide. Its undergraduate programs offer concentrations in areas like electronic and time-based work, drawing, painting, print media, context and theory, and sculpture and installation.

Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia is the first and only women's visual arts college in the U.S. Their Bachelor of Fine Arts offers ten areas of study including Illustration, Art Education, Graphic Design, and Photography & Digital Arts. They also provide valuable career opportunities through their required internship program.

Lancaster's Pennsylvania College of Art & Design offers BFA degrees in several disciplines, including illustration, graphic design, animation & game art, and fine art. For those interested in digital media, they also feature an Interactive and Graphic Design program.

The Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University is also a highly respected institution, particularly known for its programs in Glass, Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM, and Printmaking, just to name a few.

All of these colleges have unique programs and could offer you a comprehensive art education depending on what exactly you're looking for. I recommend examining course offerings, the backgrounds of the professors, and the resources available at each school. If possible, connecting with current students or alumni can also provide valuable insights.
