At the United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree upon completion of the program. The reason it's a BS degree regardless of your major is because apart from your specialized field of study, every cadet is also required to take courses in engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and physical education.

In terms of the academic majors offered, there are more than 35 options available, spanning a wide range of subjects. These include engineering fields such as civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering; social sciences like economics, psychology, or political science; humanities subjects such as history, English, or foreign languages; and natural sciences including chemistry, physics, or life science.

In addition to their academic studies, all West Point cadets engage in a rigorous military training program.
