Naval Academy Cyber Security Opportunities

I'm interested in cyber security and I've heard the Naval Academy offers programs in this field. Can anyone share what kind of courses or opportunities are available there, and how well-regarded the program is?

The U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis does indeed offer a robust Cyber Operations major that's specifically structured to meet the Navy's growing demand for cyber professionals. The program provides an interdisciplinary understanding of the cyber domain and related operations, both offensive and defensive.

Your coursework as a Cyber Operations major would have a broad base in computing fundamentals, cyber security principles, and cyber operational concepts. For example, you will be introduced to low-level programming, computer architecture, data structures, and information assurance. Classes in areas such as cyber policy, ethics, and law round out the curriculum.
