What to Expect at the Naval Academy Summer Seminar?

The Naval Academy Summer Seminar (NASS) is a very structured and intense program that's designed to give you a taste of life at the Naval Academy. Each day typically starts early with physical training, followed by a full day of academic workshops, athletic activities, and leadership development sessions. The week-long schedule includes a variety of activities such as coding, cybersecurity, naval architecture, and navigation classes, as well as participation in drills and exercises.

During your six-day session at NASS, you’ll experience first-hand what life would be like as a Midshipman, from both the academic and physical aspects. You should come prepared to challenge yourself acadically and physically.
