The Marine Corps is a renowned branch of service that offers unique opportunities, so it's great that you're considering it. Here are some of the basic qualifications that with alignment from your goals at the Naval Academy:

Academic Requirements: Same as for every Midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy. This includes studying a Bachelor of Science curriculum that involves a balanced mix of both STEM and humanities courses.

Leadership Experiences: Showing potential in leadership skills is one of the main factors for all midshipmen at the Naval Academy and it's equally essential for those vying for the Marines.

Physical Requirements: The Marine Corps has some of the most demanding physical fitness demands. You need to pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Combat Fitness Test (CFT). The PFT consists of pull-ups or push-ups, crunches or a plank, and a three-mile run. The CFT consists of a manoeuver under fire, an ammo can lift, and an 880-yard sprint.

Service Assignment: At the Naval Academy, you will have to rank your preferred service assignment in your final year. While the assignment also takes into consideration the needs of the Navy and your class rank, expressing an interest in the Marines can help.

Keep in mind that drive and dedication often play a huge role. Being in the Marines is rigorous, both physically and mentally, and having the determination to meet and overcome challenges is critical in the admission process and the training itself.

Remember that this is a general list to get you started on your path. Engaging with an admissions officer or a contact at the Naval Academy will ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
