I'm considering applying to the US Naval Academy and I'm curious about the length of the program. How many years do you spend there as a student before graduating?
Students who attend the United States Naval Academy, often referred to as Annapolis, spend four years there to complete their undergraduate degree. It's similar to a traditional college in this regard. However, keep in mind that upon graduation, midshipmen are commissioned as Ensigns in the Navy or Second Lieutenants in the Marine Corps and then are required to serve a minimum of five years of service. This commitment is in addition to the four years spent at the academy.
