I'm beginning my application to the Coast Guard Academy but I'm a bit lost on where to access the application form. Can someone point me in the right direction for this?
You'll want to start your application process on the official U.S. Coast Guard Academy website. Look for the "admissions" tab, and you should find information on how to apply. As part of the application process, you'll be asked to create an account which will serve as your primary means of communication with the Academy during the process, including access to the application form itself. Keep in mind that the Coast Guard Academy has a different process than many colleges, as they don’t use Common App.
Remember, along with the online application form, the admissions process includes various additional components such as a physical fitness exam, teacher evaluations, and high school transcripts. Always double-check to ensure you've fulfilled each requirement. Also, note that the deadline is usually around January 15th, but it's always good to start early to give yourself ample time to complete all components. Good luck!
