Nonprofits Supporting Military Personnel in New England

I've been looking into nonprofits that focus on supporting military personnel and veterans in New England. Does anyone know of organizations with good reputations that also offer job opportunities?

Certainly, there are several well-established nonprofits in the New England area that provide support for military personnel and veterans and could also have job opportunities. However, keep in mind that availability of positions can vary.

One respected organization is Home Base. Based out of Boston, this is a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program dedicated to healing the invisible wounds military service, such as post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, amongst others. They may have opportunities in healthcare, social work, or administration.

Another is Soldiers' Home in Chelsea, MA. This is a state-funded health care complex that offers veterans quality care, full-time residential accommodations, and multi-service outpatient care. Potential job areas could include healthcare, facilities, and administrative roles.

Finally, there's the New England Center and Home for Veterans, also based in Boston. They aim to help veterans who are facing or at risk of homelessness by providing housing and services that enable them to gain self-sufficiency. Employment opportunities could range from case management to operational roles.

Note: When looking for jobs in these organizations, it's a good idea to regularly check their websites or job-posting platforms for any openings. And of course, keep in mind each organization's mission to ensure it aligns with your values and career goals.
