The U.S. Coast Guard Academy, located in New London, Connecticut, is known for its top-notch facilities. The academic facilities house state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories that foster learning and innovation, specifically for majors like engineering and humanities.

Roland Hall, the athletic complex, is another impressive feature. It boasts various training facilities, sports arenas, and an aerobic center. As you know, physical fitness is an integral part of the Coast Guard's culture and training, so cadets often make use of this facility.

The Academy library is another fantastic resource. Renovated in recent years, it's home to extensive collections of books, online resources, and with quiet study spaces.

Overall, the Coast Guard Academy's infrastructure is designed to support a rigorous academic and physically demanding life. You'll find they've put a lot of thought into creating conducive learning, living, and training environments for their cadets.

Residential life is focused in Chase Hall, where all the cadets live. Rooms are relatively basic but functional; cadets live in doubles, and each room comes with two closets, two desks, and two beds, along with some storage shelves.

Lastly, the Coast Guard Academy is home to a whole host of recreational facilities like a sailing center and a golf course. The surrounding natural beauty of the campus is also a benefit, with the Thames River nearby, offering breathtaking views and perfect for maritime pursuits.

Please note that visitor access may be restricted due to various reasons. It is best to check in advance if you wish to visit.
