What should I expect from the Naval Academy entrance examination?

I'm curious about what the entrance examination for the Naval Academy entails. What subjects are covered, and how challenging is it? I'm planning to apply and want to prepare as thoroughly as possible.

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) does not have its own unique entrance examination. Rather, it accepts standardized test scores, specifically the SAT and ACT. As admission to the USNA is quite competitive, you'll want to aim for strong scores on whichever of these tests you decide to take.

For the ACT, you'll need a mighty performance across all four sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Keep in mind that the ACT is a marathon of a test, meaning time management and endurance are key. Strong math skills are particularly important, as a significant portion of the Naval Academy's curriculum involves mathematics and engineering.
