Are there group tours available at the Naval Academy?

I'm interested in organizing a tour for my class to the Naval Academy. Does anyone know if they offer group tours, and how far in advance we would need to book? Any information would be appreciated!

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) does offer group tours. They are a fantastic way to learn about the history, traditions, and mission of this prestigious institution. It's a terrific opportunity for students to get an inside view and gain a better understanding of what life at a service academy entails.

The Naval Academy typically encourages groups of 15 or more to take part in their guided walking tours. These group tours are generally led by knowledgeable, trained guides who can give your students a comprehensive overview of the campus and its programs.

However, keep in mind that demand for these tours can be quite high, particularly during certain times of the year. Therefore, it's advisable to make your reservation as far in advance as possible. The exact timeframe may vary, but usually, several weeks to a few months ahead is a good rule of thumb.

Do note that as of 2024, the campus is requiring masks to be worn inside all buildings and in any outdoor settings where adequate social distancing can't be maintained.

Also, it's important to mention that USNA has the right to close the campus without notice for security reasons. Therefore, it's a good idea to double-check your tour schedule closer to your visit date.
