What's the Naval Academy Obstacle Course Like?

I've heard about the Naval Academy obstacle course at Annapolis, and I'm really curious about what it's like. Is it open to the public or only for students? What kind of challenges does it include?

The obstacle course at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, popularly known as the USNA or "Sea Trials," is quite an experience! The course is designed to be both physically challenging and mentally demanding, allowing students to demonstrate their stamina, strength, strategic thinking, and teamwork skills.

The Sea Trials encompass a multitude of different obstacles and challenges. Some of these may include challenges such as rock wall climbing, paddling exercises, rope swinging, log PT, an endurance course, pugil stick jousting, and a two-mile regimental run. These individual challenges are designed to test your physical fitness and endurance levels, as well as to foster teamwork and leadership skills. It's a significant part of a Midshipman's training.

However, the Sea Trials are not just about physical toughness, they also aim to build leadership and teamwork skills through adversity.
