Do salaries vary by major for Naval Academy graduates?

I'm curious about the starting salaries of Naval Academy graduates. Does your major significantly impact salary right out of the Academy, or is it more based on your role in the Navy?

After graduating from the Naval Academy, most graduates serve in the Navy or Marine Corps, so their initial income is primarily determined by their military rank and not by their major or role. As a fresh graduate, you will typically commission as an Ensign in the Navy, or a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps. The monthly basic salary is the same across the board, and it increases with rank progression and years of service.
