Which school gives the most scholarships for high school students?

As a high school junior researching college options, I'm trying to prioritize schools that offer generous scholarships. Does anyone know which colleges or universities are known for providing a lot of scholarships to their students?

Selecting schools that provide ample scholarships is a strategic move, especially if you want to minimize student loans. A few universities are known for being highly generous with their scholarships.

1. University of Richmond in Virginia covers the full cost of attendance for students whose families earn less than $60,000 annually. They even cover the cost of room and board. It's a need-blind school, which means your ability to pay doesn't affect the admission decision.

2. Vanderbilt University is known for offering numerous full-tuition scholarships each year. Their Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship is given based on academic merit and covers full tuition plus a summer stipend for study abroad, research, or service projects.

3. Duke University has the Karsh International Scholarship which provides full tuition, room and board, mandatory fees, and even offers funding for research, internships, and other educational opportunities. Duke's Robertson Scholars Leadership Program is another one which provides four years of tuition, fees, and room and board, and includes unique advising, seminar, and summer opportunities.

4. Washington University in St. Louis offers the John B. Ervin Scholars Program, which covers full or partial tuition.

5. Lastly, the University of Southern California offers the Trustee Scholarship which is a full-tuition scholarship.

These might give you a good starting point, but remember to also check the general merit and need-based scholarships offered directly by the universities. Also, don't forget to explore external scholarships which can be used at any institution. Research thoroughly and remember to submit your applications on time!
