Which US colleges offer scholarships for international students?

I'm an international student aiming to study in the US and am looking into scholarships. Can anyone share which US colleges are known for offering scholarships to international students? Any advice on finding generous opportunities would be awesome.

Sure, there are a number of institutions in the U.S. that offer scholarships for international students. Here are a few:

1. Harvard University – As a need-blind college, Harvard is committed to financing undergraduates from all around the globe. Families who earn less than $85,000 a year pay nothing for their child's education, while those who earn between $85,000 and $150,000 will pay between 0 and 10% of their annual income.

2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – MIT's policy also adheres to need-blind admission. All students are eligible for the same amount of aid, regardless of nationality, once they are accepted.

3. University of Chicago – The Odyssey Scholarship Program replaces loans with grants for students whose families earn less than $125,000 annually, which international students on visas are also eligible for.

4. Yale University – Yale considers international students for Yale scholarships with the same consideration as U.S. citizens. Your financial need and aid package will be assessed and provided at the point of admission.

For finding scholarships, employ tools like the scholarship search on the College Board or Appily websites, which allow international students to search for scholarships specifically geared towards them. Remember scholarships can also be found outside of universities, via non-profit organizations, companies, and various foundations.

Submit the CSS Profile (alongside any specific requirements individual colleges may have), so institutions and scholarship programs can accurately understand your financial needs.

Hope this helps and best of luck in your search for scholarships!
