Are there scholarships available for all four years of college?

I'm really hoping to secure a scholarship that lasts throughout my entire college career. Does anyone know of scholarships that are available for all four years?

Absolutely, there are indeed scholarships available that cover expenses for all four years of your undergraduate study. These are usually termed as "renewable scholarships," meaning they can be renewed each year, typically contingent upon meeting certain criteria like maintaining a certain grade point average (GPA), continuing a specific course of study, or performing certain activities.

For instance, the National Merit Scholarship program is a highly competitive program based on PSAT scores, and if awarded, the scholarship can be renewed each year of your undergraduate studies. Likewise, many colleges and universities offer renewable scholarships themselves. The specifics of these scholarships can be found on each institution's financial aid website.

Private companies and organizations also offer renewable scholarships. A well-known example is the Coca-Cola Scholars Program which provides $20,000 scholarships to 150 high school seniors each year, distributed over 4 years of undergraduate study.

Remember, these scholarships often require ongoing commitment - whether it's maintaining a certain GPA or contributing to a club or organization. Therefore, it's important to thoroughly understand the renewal terms. Just be sure to continue your scholarship search throughout your college years as well as there are also many one-time scholarships you can apply for each year.

The key is to be diligent in your research and application process because there are a lot of opportunities available if you just look for them! Good luck!
