What's it really like at the US Naval Academy?

For anyone who's been to the US Naval Academy, what's it like day-to-day? I'm thinking about applying, and I'd love to know more about the atmosphere, workload, and social life there.

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is a prestigious institution with a structured daily routine and a rigorous academic curriculum. From the moment the day begins until lights out, your time is pretty scheduled.

The atmosphere on campus, or "the Yard," is unique to military academies. There's a real sense of camaraderie, honor, and respect among midshipmen. The USNA's honor concept plays a significant part in shaping this culture, promoting honesty and integrity in all aspects of life.

Academically, the USNA is challenging, offering a diverse range of majors from Naval Architecture to Cyber Operations.
