Which universities provide the most scholarships?

Looking to compile a list of universities that offer a lot of scholarships. It'd be great to maximize my chances of getting financial aid! Do you know any schools known for having a ton of scholarship options?

There are indeed many colleges and universities that are known for offering substantial scholarships and grants to their students.

One school that stands out is Columbia University. Despite its high sticker price, Columbia commits to meeting 100% of students' demonstrated financial need. And according to the university, almost half of their students receive grants from the institution that do not need to be repaid.

Duke University is another school that offers considerable amounts of financial aid. Not only does Duke meet 100% of demonstrated financial need, but they also offer a range of merit scholarships, including the A.B. Duke Scholarship, Reginald Howard Memorial Scholarship, and the David M. Rubenstein Scholarship.

Vanderbilt is another high-profile university known for its generous scholarships. Vanderbilt offers several merit scholarships, including the Ingram Scholarship Program and the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship program, which are awarded based on academic achievement, intellectual promise, leadership, and community involvement.

Similarly, University of Notre Dame offers merit scholarships to a small number of exceptional applicants each year, in addition to need-based aid.

The University of Texas at Austin provides Forty Acres Scholars Program for its in-state students, which is the most prestigious scholarship offered to entering freshmen, covering full tuition, mandatory fees, a living stipend, and an enrichment stipend which includes a variety of valuable networking and mentorship opportunities.

The University of Southern California offers several highly competitive full-tuition scholarships such as the Trustee Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship and the Mork Family Scholarship that covers tuition and $5,000 living stipend per year.

Do keep in mind that scholarships can vary widely and, while these are a few examples, it's best to research each school individually. Don't forget to use the net price calculator on each school's website to get an estimate of what you might expect to pay after scholarships and financial aid.
