Finding Scholarships for Autistic College Students

Does anyone know of scholarships available for students with autism? As someone on the spectrum, I'm curious about what opportunities exist and any experiences from those who have successfully applied.

Certainly, there are a number of scholarships available for autistic students, which are designed to reduce financial barriers and provide assistance. Some examples include:

1. The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) Scholarship: This scholarship is granted to individuals across the autism spectrum who are pursuing post-secondary education.

2. The Autism Society: They provide Autism Society Adult Services Scholarships to support individuals with autism in their pursuit of post-secondary education.

3. The P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship: This is for high school seniors with a verified language-related learning difference who are seeking a career in the visual arts.

4. The Kelly Law Team Autism Scholarship: This is a $1,000 scholarship offered to a student with autism.

And, remember, many general disability scholarships are also open to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, such as The Anne Ford Scholarship and The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship.

Keep in mind that each scholarship has different application processes and eligibility requirements, so it's important to research each opportunity thoroughly. Best of luck in your pursuit of college opportunities!
