Any good scholarships for fall 2025 incoming freshmen?

I'm going to be a college freshman in fall 2025 and am trying to find good scholarships to apply for. Does anyone have recommendations for where to start looking or specific scholarships I should consider? Thanks in advance!

Sure, happy to share some general scholarships you might want to consider applying for - just keep in mind you'll want to focus as much on smaller, local scholarships as on these large, national ones.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship offers 150 awards of $20,000 each year to high school seniors.

The Dell Scholars Program awards 500 scholarships annually, each valued at $20,000 plus a laptop and textbook credits.

The Burger King Scholars program gives out a range of awards to high school seniors. The James W. McLamore WHOPPER Scholarship, in particular, grants $60,000 to three students each year.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Scholarships also provides a variety of scholarships for high school seniors.

Remember that you can also research scholarships through platforms like Appily, Fastweb, and Chegg Scholarships, based on your particular interests, intended major, and other personal attributes. Don't forget to also check out any scholarships that may be offered by your future college or local organizations - these are usually less competitive because they have a smaller applicant pool.

Besides, don't forget to complete the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for federal student aid, and check if you're eligible for merit aid at your intended college. Universities often have separate applications for these kind of scholarships.

Wishing you all the best in your search!
