Where can I find the best resources for college scholarships?

I'm starting my search for college scholarships and I'm wondering what are the top resources or websites out there that can help me find opportunities. Any suggestions on where to start would be awesome!

There are several resources you can use to identify scholarship opportunities.

1. CollegeVine Scholarship Portal: While we don't have a search engine per se, CollegeVine does share a regularly updated list of scholarships with our users. This can be a valuable tool for tracking down a variety of opportunities.

2. Appily: This is a great resource that not only maintains a comprehensive list of scholarships but also features a very user-friendly interface to navigate them.

3. U.S. Department of Labor's Scholarship Search: This is a government resource that provides information on thousands of scholarships covering a vast range of fields and requirements.

4. Fastweb: Fastweb holds a vast database of scholarships and also offers personalized scholarship matches based on your profile.

5. Chegg Scholarships: Similar to Fastweb, Chegg also provides personalized matches besides their extensive scholarship database.

In addition to online resources, don't forget to communicate with your high school counselor and financial aid advisors at the colleges you're applying to, as they often have scholarship information tailored to you and your circumstances.

Keep in mind the importance of local scholarships as well. This might be from your high school, community organizations, local businesses, or regional colleges. These scholarships are usually less competitive because of a smaller applicant pool.

Start searching and applying early, and remember to always meet application guidelines and deadlines. Good luck!
