Scholarships for Twins Heading to College?

I'm one-half of a set of twins, and college fees are concerning us. Are there specific scholarships that cater to twins who are headed to college? Any personal experiences or information would help us a lot!

While there aren't a ton of scholarships specifically for twins, some do exist. For instance, Sterling College in Kansas offers the Twin Scholarship, which discounts each twin's tuition by half if both enroll at the same time.

Beyond this, a few universities offer discounts or waivers for twins or multiples. The most well-known is probably the Twins Days Festival scholarship, given to a pair of twins who attend the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio. Lake Erie College in Ohio also offers a 50% off tuition per twin who attends the school.

However, remember that it's essential to cast a wide net in your scholarship search. Look for scholarships around your interests, career goals, community service, and more. Those scholarships aren't twin-specific, but they're likely more plentiful and potentially less competitive.

A good place to start your search could be the Appily scholarship search tool; it includes details on countless scholarships that cater to a range of criteria including but not restricted to, leadership roles, artistic achievements, athletic performance, community service contributions, and more. Just remember to cater your application to specifically address the scholarship criteria and make yourself stand out. Good luck!
