Is transferring to the United States Merchant Marine Academy possible?

I'm currently thinking about the possibility of transferring to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Does anyone know if they accept transfer students, and if so, what the process looks like? Any insights on requirements would be a huge help!

The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) does not accept transfer students. Instead, all individuals must apply as new candidates, regardless of their prior academic experience.
