Learning disabilities scholarships and grants?

I'm a high school junior with a learning disability and looking for scholarships and grants that can support my college education. If you know any specific programs or organizations that could assist, I would love to hear about them.

There are several programs out there that provide financial aid opportunities for students with learning disabilities!

The Anne Ford Scholarship from the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) offers a scholarship of $10,000 to a high school senior with a documented learning disability.

The Marion Huber Learning Through Listening awards also present an opportunity, granted by the Learning Ally organization. They award scholarships to students with learning disabilities who have shown exceptional scholarship and learning achievement.

RiSE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. provides opportunities for students with learning disabilities. They offer the RiSE Scholarship which is awarded to five students annually.

Lastly, the P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship is given to one or two high school seniors with learning disabilities who have a talent in the visual arts.

One thing to remember while searching is to reach out to schools you are interested in, as many institutions have their own scholarships for students with learning disabilities. Your guidance counselor can also be a great resource in your search for scholarships.

Be sure to research the eligibility requirements for each scholarship as they can vary significantly. Good luck with your college journey!
