How to find scholarships for female computer science majors?

I'm a high school junior interested in computer science and was wondering about scholarship opportunities specifically for female students. Does anyone know of organizations or programs that I should check out?

There are numerous scholarships available specifically for female students in computer science! Here are a few you might find helpful:

1) The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) provides several scholarships every year to women pursuing ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate programs in preparation for careers in engineering or computer science.

2) The Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Google, is another great opportunity for female computer science majors. The recipient of this scholarship also receives an invitation to the Google Scholars' Retreat, which is an amazing networking opportunity.

3) The Palantir Women in Technology Scholarship provides grants to undergraduate women pursuing degrees in the fields of Technology and Engineering.

4) The Center for Women In Technology (CWIT) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County has a Scholars Program specifically designed to provide undergraduate women in engineering and information technology with scholarship opportunities.

5) The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is geared towards high school seniors, high school graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduate students. Women studying Computer Science can apply to this scholarship as well.

6) Appily (formerly Cappex) is a searchable database that can also help you find more computer science scholarships for women.

Completing scholarship applications can take time and often requires essays and other supplemental materials, so it's best to start as soon as you can. Also, remember to confirm the deadlines. This is not an exhaustive list and many more opportunities are out there. Good luck with your scholarship search!
