Any scholarships for college students from Hawaii?

I'm considering going to college out of state, but I'm originally from Hawaii. Are there any scholarships specifically for students who come from Hawaii or are attending college in Hawaii that I might be eligible for?

Sure, there are several scholarship opportunities for students from Hawaii!

1. The Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships: This foundation administers more than 280 scholarships and students from Hawaii can apply to multiple scholarships with just one application.

2. The Hawaii Education Association (HEA) Student Teacher Scholarship: This is given to a deserving undergraduate student who is in a Student Teacher semester from an accredited State of Hawaii university or college.

3. Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program: This scholarship is available for Native Hawaiian students studying health-related professions. It's a competitive scholarship program that provides financial assistance to students in health professions.

4. The Regents and Presidential Scholarship at the University of Hawaii are merit scholarships that provide full tuition waivers and scholarships each year to residents of Hawaii who graduate in the top 10% of their high school class, among other academic achievements.

5. The Kamehameha Schools' Na Ho‘okama a Pauahi Scholarship Program: This program is for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, who have a demonstrated commitment to contribute to the greater community.

Additionally, if you apply to colleges out of state, many of them have scholarships designated for out-of-state students to help offset the higher tuition. Be sure to look into merit and need-based scholarships at the schools you're applying to, as well as opportunities specific to your intended major or area of study. Good luck with your scholarship search!
