Tufts University offers a wide range of majors related to different fields of study that attract a diverse pool of students. Among them, International Relations is particularly popular and fairly unique to Tufts. This program allows students to gain a well-rounded understanding of global politics, economics, cultures, and languages.

Another significant program at Tufts is the Engineering Science Program, which provides interdisciplinary training of both engineering and the liberal arts. Tufts' undergraduate Biomedical Engineering program is also quite popular and is ranked among the best in the country.

On the liberal arts side, the Political Science major is often populated by a large number of students. Additionally, Tufts has a strong presence in the Fine Arts field and offers unique programs such as the Combined Degree with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, which allows students to earn a BFA and a BA/BS in 5 years.
