SAT Score Table

Hi, I'm trying to find a resource that will help me understand the SAT score table better. I'd like to know how my scores for each section are reported so I can understand what areas I might need to work on.

Hi there! I'm happy to help you understand the SAT score table better. The SAT is made up of two main sections: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and Math. Each of these sections is scored on a scale of 200 to 800, with the total SAT score being the sum of these two sections, ranging from 400 to 1600.

Within the EBRW section, there are two separate tests: the Reading Test and the Writing & Language Test. Although these two tests have separate raw scores, they are combined into a single EBRW score. For the Math section, there are also two tests: the Math Test – Calculator and Math Test – No Calculator, but they are combined into a single Math score as well.

To pinpoint the areas where you might need to work on, you can look at the detailed subscores and cross-test scores on your SAT score report. These scores are reported on a scale of 1 to 15 and give you insights into your performance in specific skill areas. Good luck with your SAT prep!
