What private schools in New Hampshire are worth looking into?

While searching for colleges, I'm curious about the private schools in New Hampshire. Are there any that stand out for their programs or reputation that a high school junior like me should know about?

Certainly! New Hampshire is home to several fantastic private institutions, each with unique offerings and areas of distinction.

First off, it's impossible to talk about private colleges in New Hampshire without mentioning Dartmouth College. Dartmouth, part of the Ivy League, is known worldwide for its pristine faculty, outstanding academic rigor, and small class sizes. While they offer a range of solid programs, Dartmouth is particularly reputable in the areas of Business, Government, and Engineering.

Next, you might want to have a look at Franklin Pierce University. Known for its vibrant campus life and supportive community, it's especially noted for its programs in Health Sciences (including physical therapy and nursing), and Business.

Another private institution you might consider is Rivier University. While it offers a wide array of programs, it's particularly noteworthy for its programs in Nursing and Education, which include service-learning opportunities and high levels of career preparation.

Lastly, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is notable for its online offerings as well as on-campus programs. SNHU is vast with many diverse programs, but it is particularly known for its Business programs, including majors in Marketing, Sport Management, and Fashion Merchandising.

Keep in mind that the "best" school is subjective and very much depends on what you're looking for in terms of campus culture, location, size, academic specialties, and more. Therefore, I encourage you to further research these schools and see which one aligns best with your interests and career goals.
