Tall scholarships for college: Fact or fiction?

I heard there might be scholarships for being taller than average. Is this real? If so, how tall do you have to be, and does it actually help with college expenses?

Absolutely, it might sound surprising, but there are indeed scholarships out there that factor in unique aspects such as height. One such scholarship is the Tall Clubs International Scholarship. It is offered both to male candidates who are at least 6'2" and female candidates who are at least 5'10". The scholarship amount is $1,000, which can be a substantial help for covering some of your college expenses.

Remember that scholarships like these tend to be very competitive due to their uniqueness and wider eligibility. Plus, you should also continue to focus your efforts on other viable scholarships based on academics, community service, or other special skills/talents you may possess. The opportunities to secure college aid are not limited to one's height. Happy hunting!
