What's it like attending Post University online?

I'm considering enrolling in Post University's online program after high school. Does anyone have insights on how their classes work, the workload, or interaction with professors and classmates?

As an online student at Post University, the first thing you'll note is flexibility. One of the most advantageous aspects of studying online is the ability to undertake your coursework whenever suits you best, whether early in the morning or late at night.

Each course typically lasts eight weeks, with a week-long break between them. Course content is organized into weekly modules and while assignments within each week have due dates, you can work through the content at your own pace throughout the week, which gives you the flexibility to weave schoolwork into your existing commitments.

The workload is often rigorous, but manageable, depending on your time management skills and the number of classes you take per semester. You can expect to spend about 10-15 hours per week on coursework for each class you're enrolled in. The work can include watching video lectures, completing quizzes, participating in discussion boards, and submitting papers or projects. The coursework often emphasizes real-world applications, which can make the classes feel relevant and worthwhile.

As for professor and classmate interaction, keep in mind that this is an online environment. However, often professors engage and support students through regular communication, virtual office hours and personalized feedback on assignments. Engagement with your classmates mostly happens through discussion forums where you're able to comment on others' posts and have conversations about the course material. In some classes, you might also do group projects.

Remember, online education requires self-discipline, organization, and initiative. Stay proactive about reaching out to your professors and peers and keeping up with your assignments, and you're likely to have a positive experience!
