Top business programs in California?

I'm thinking about majoring in business and would love to stay in California. Does anyone have recommendations for the best business programs in the state? I'm curious about both undergrad experience and post-grad opportunities.

California has several highly regarded business programs that would not just offer exceptional undergraduate experience but also open up vast post-grad opportunities.

1. The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is often considered one of the top undergraduate programs in the country. They have a renowned faculty and offer extensive opportunities for internships particularly in the tech and startup sectors, thanks to their proximity to Silicon Valley.

2. The Stanford Graduate School of Business, while it offers no undergraduate business program, still makes for an excellent destination for students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. You can major in related disciplines such as economics, and also pursue their interdisciplinary programs like "Science Technology and Society" or the Mathematical and Computational Science program.

3. The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California offers a range of business programs. Their location in Los Angeles provides access to a bustling job market and opens up plenty of opportunities for networking.

4. If you're interested in smaller programs, Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School offers an undergraduate program in which students can tailor the coursework to their specific areas of interest. They are known for their entrepreneurial focus and strong ethics curriculum.

5. Lastly, the undergraduate business program at Loyola Marymount University is also worth considering. It’s ranked highly for its entrepreneurship program and places an emphasis on experiential learning.

As you think about these options, make sure to consider factors such as size of the program, availability of internships and co-op experiences, integration with other disciplines, options for study abroad, and opportunities for engagement outside the classroom as well. Be sure to visit each school to get a firsthand feel of the culture, teaching style, student community, and more.
