Where to find odd scholarships for college students?

I've heard there are some pretty odd or unique scholarships out there that students can apply for. Does anyone know where I can find these, or can you share any experiences with applying for such scholarships?

Absolutely, there are many unique scholarships out there that aren't as mainstream and thus might have fewer applicants. An excellent way to find such scholarships is by using scholarship databases like Fastweb, Chegg Scholarships, or Appily. They all have advanced search functions that let you filter your results by demographic, location, major, interests, and more.

Also, to find scholarships that are unique or specific to your interests, consider checking with local organizations, clubs you're involved in, and even the companies where your family members work. You'd be surprised at how niche some scholarships can get. Here's an example: there's a scholarship called the Duck Brand "Stuck at Prom" Scholarship Contest which awards money to students who make the best prom outfit out of duct tape!

Remember to avoid scams during your search. Legitimate scholarships will never ask for payment or bank information, so definitely stay away from anything that requests such details. All the best with your hunt for scholarships!
